Mrs.winslow spills her guts

Today Mrs.Winslow spills her deepest secret .Unfortunately she forbid me to share it.anyhow she did something shes not so proud of but i am not going to share it.To make up for her telling us that we had to write about something shameful we did.

so many finger prints my head could bust.

Today Mrs.Winslow took the classes fingerprints.Most kids got loop fingerprints.We also have five mustang coins.we started a new chapter in math the other day and so far it is fun.

Today in science we learned about different types of fingerprints.  Also, about some methods that are used to uncover them.  We also got 3 mustang coins.  We also learned how to be good in line to get even more coins.

80's day

Today was crazy 80's day it was awesome there were lots of costumes most of the girls were wearing leg warmers and Mrs Winslow let us listen to 80's music it was great I love the 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walker or Busser???

Homework

The 5th grade has science homework now but it's okay because most of them are pretty cool like today we did rubbings where we got to put leaves under paper and color over them with crayons they turned out beautiful well

Open House

At open house, there was a scavenger hunt in Mrs. Winslow's room.  You got candy when you completed it.  It was pretty good.  okay bye!

OMG Mrs Winslow finally got her bag of candy she passed some out today i got a mini bag of sour patch kids I love Mrs Winslow plus we got a new center its read's books to us and then we do questions about the book and that's are new stuff in Mrs Winslow's class!!!!!!!!!!!!

Divisibility Rules

Today we learned divisibility rules.  They were very fascinating. Mrs. Winslow taught them very well.  She also helped us glue them in our composition books.  For example.  102 is divisible is divisible by two because the number in the ones place is even. 

That is what I learned to day in Mrs. Winslow's 4/5 grade class.

all of the 5th graders are so excited  for band but everybody is excited for Mrs Winslow to get her bag of candy this weekend  because she said if she had candy she would give candy to us and we are all sad that we do not have third recess and that's all.

Homework and Spelling Words:

This is what your children have for homework this week: study spelling words, math homework, and 30 minutes nightly reading.  This should take total no more than 40 - 45 minutes.

5th Grade Math for this week is: Study Links 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6.

Spelling words normally go home on Monday (went home on Tuesday this week).  They are on colored paper and include the cut out word sort.  Another list goes home on Thursday as a reminder to study for the test on Friday.

The reading log is normally sent out on Mondays and is due the following Monday.  The reading log for this week was sent out today.

Clone codes

Right now we are reading about clone codes. it is pretty good. and it's about a girl named Lianna whose mom was arrested because she is in a program that try's to free clones so now we think she might be a clone  or an alien and that's pretty much all that's going on in Mrs. Winslow's class.
