The school jitters!

once upon a time on the20th day of school a little girl got the jitters.Everyone was so loud and she didn't get to work and got in trouble. She had to stay inside and had to scrape gum off the bottom of the tables. She had to scrape every table in the school, even the lunch tables. The lunch tables were so infested with gum, it was too hard to believe. To be continued.......

Writing - A collective effort!

We brainstormed today and have come up with a writing idea. We will be writing a book together as a class. Plot: Mrs. Winslow's class gets sucked into a port-hole taking them into a magical jungle where everything is candy. Remember to look for their finished book in the next couple of weeks.

A Visit From Mrs. Winslow's Cousin

Hi, It's Ariane. Thank you for allowing me to visit. It has been a fun few days spent with Mrs. Winslow's 3rd grade class. The kids are so much fun and well behaved. I also got to hang out with the soccer players at practice. I hope to visit again next year, remember to stop by and say hello!!!!

Being Quiet at Appropriate Times

Our class is a very creative and expressive group! I really appreciate this about them, however we need to work on being quiet during appropriate times. It is important to talk and communicate with one another, however I would like the students to talk softly during circle, seat, and center time. It becomes difficult to work with my reading groups when the students talk loudly during this time. Let's work together to improve our noise level during circle, seat, and center time. Thank you!!!!!!!
